J.C. Joyce Trucking & Paving was established in 1975 by its founders, J.C. and Dana Joyce. The company is a heavy highway class contractor and prequalified with VDOT and NCDOT for contracting opportunities. The company offers a diverse portfolio of work through the years and all of that experience goes into the services we provide today. J.C. Joyce Trucking & Paving Co., Inc. is a historied company, who has transitioned into a second generation of officers; Scott Joyce and Amy Cutchins, J.C. and Dana’s two children. We are proud to honor God, Family, and Country in our work.

The first asphalt plant was opened in 2000, and 25 years later, a second asphalt plant is opening to customers in an expanded market. With 2 asphalt plants positioned along Route 220 Corridor, we can reach North to Roanoke, VA., South to Greensboro, NC., and surrounding areas. With 2 asphalt mixing plants, quality, availability, and scheduling are variables that we control. We routinely sample and test asphalt to maintain the design, and supply customers with the best mixes available.

As your contractor, we can manage the civil portion of a project from A-Z and offer subcontracting trades all under one contractor. When the job is finished, we don’t pack up and go home. We remain a visible part of the community and are here to service customers when their next project or when the need arises.
